College of Criminology
The University of Perpetual Help System DALTA Criminology Education program is recognized by the commission on Higher Education geared toward careers in Scientifc Crime detection, Police Administration, Criminal Justice System Administration, Corrections and Jail Management and Penology. Its pragmatic value lies in its responsiveness to the strengthening of the law enforcement agencies of the Government, the improvement of Criminal Justice System Administration and the enhancement of public safety and security.
Graduating students undergo internship on basic law enforcement, fire protection and jail management and penology duties at the Las Piñas City, Philippine National Police Station, Fire Protecion Bureau and City Jail, as well as nearby environs i.e., Muntinlupa, Bacoor and Parañaque. They likewise undergo on-the-job training at the different laboratories of the National Bureau of Investigation, Taft Avenue , Manila , as mandated by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

The College of Criminology shall develop the Criminology Students as a future leader filled with dynamism committed to achieve the highest quality of life and service for the Criminal Justice System and Community.

The College believes that quality education of the youth in public safety and order is primordial in their development as future catalyst of peace, security and progress.
Vision
The College of Criminology shall emerge as the mainstream of human resource, not only locally but globally, for the different components of the Criminal Justice System.

BS Criminology
The 4-year course is geared towards careers in Scientific Crime Detection, Police Administration, Corrections, Jail Management and Penology, Fire protection and Industrial Security as well. Its pragmatic value lies in its responsiveness to the strengthening of law enforcement agencies, the improvement of criminal justice administration and the enhancement of the public safety and security.
Career Opportunities
- As Law Enforcement Administrator, Executive, adviser, consultant or agent in any government or private agency.
- As Technician in dactyloscopy, ballistic, question documents, lie detection, police photographer, forensic chemistry and other scientific aspects of crime detection.
- As Correctional Administrator, executive supervisor, worker or officer in any correctional and penal institutions.
- As Counselor, expert or adviser in a research or project involving the causes of crime, juvenile delinquency, treatment of offenders, police operations, law enforcement administration, scientific criminal investigation or public welfare administration.
