College of Law
The College of Law gives you the very best start to a successful legal career. We set the standard for postgraduate legal education - providing the practical skills and knowledge you'll need through qualification and beyond. More legal professionals have built a successful career with us than with anyone else.
The primary objective of the College of Law of the University of Perpetual Help System is to inculcate in its students a proper appreciation and understanding of law as an instrument for the promotion of the highest interests of the nation.
The college also strives to prepare its students for the practice of law as a career with full fidelity to the lofty standards of the legal profession and the demands of responsible citizenship.
Its specific goal is to inspire students to pursue justice as an ideal of the free society, particularly the underprivileged, and the promotion of human rights as the special mission of the lawyer. Passing the bar examinations is also an objective, but only as a means for the attainment of the above-stated higher purpose.
The curriculum of the College of Law includes all subjects required by the Supreme Court for the completion of the Law course plus a number of other subjects calculated to broaden the students' preparation for the law career. While called the electives, the latter are nevertheless required to be taken and passed by the students as indispensable requisites for their graduation.
