Student Outcomes

Student Outcomes- The Student Outcomes specify what students are expected to know and be able to do by the time of graduation. These are the skills, knowledge, and behaviors that the students acquire as they progress through the program.
These qualities are as follows:

A. Fundamentals of Mathematics and Science
- Ability to apply knowledge of mathematics and science to solve complex engineering problems and rudiments

B. Experimental Design
- Ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data

C. Design Solutions
- Ability to design a system, component, or process to meet the desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability in accordance with standards.

D. Teamwork in a Multidisciplinary Setting
- Ability to function in multidisciplinary teams

E. Investigation of Engineering Problems
- Ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems

F. Ethics
- Understanding of professional and ethical responsibility

G. Effective Communication
- Ability to effectively communicate

H. Engineering Solution in Various Contexts
- Broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and social context

- Recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in life-long learning

J. Contemporary Issues
- Knowledge of contemporary issues

K. Techniques and Skills in Engineering Practice
- Ability to use techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice

L. Engineering and Management Principles
- Knowledge and understanding of engineering and management principles as a member and leader in a team and to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environment.
