Fire Safety and Human Rights Education Seminar with a theme Learning For Life

The College of Criminology successfully conducted a Community Extension Service seminar entitled "Fire Safety and Human Rights Education Seminar with a theme Learning For Life, on March 2, 2025, at Zone 1, Sitio Aroma, Longos, Zapote V, Cavite. Organized by the Criminology Student Council, with 4th year interns and 3rd year students as the speakers, the event aimed to educate the community on essential safety measures and legal rights. The seminar was honored by the presence of Dean Raul C. Trinidad, along with HON. Ernesto G. De Rosas and Barangay Secretary Mark Gil M. Juanito, whose support was invaluable in making the event possible.

The University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD) formalized its partnership with the Huawei ICT Academy through a signed Memorandum of Understanding, marking a significant milestone in advancing ICT education. Present during the ceremony were Dr. Rosalie Armando, Central IT Director; Mr. Andrei Manuel, Huawei Representative; Dr. Jenniline Eya, Dean of CCS Las Piñas; Engr. Jerome Refran, Dean of CCS Calamba; and Ms. Maribel Sandagon, OIC of CCS Molino. Their presence highlighted the strong collaboration between the university and Huawei in fostering innovation and equipping students with globally relevant digital skills.

UPHSD Christmas ID 2024 Production

Second-year Communication students took the lead in producing the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA’s 2024 Christmas Station ID, which began filming on December 12. Showcasing both their creativity and technical skills, the students not only directed the entire production but also composed the original music used in the video. Student representatives from various colleges participated during the shoot, contributing to a collaborative celebration that brought together talents from across the university. Anchored on the theme “Hindi Buo ang Pasko Kung Wala Ka,” the Christmas Station ID reflects the spirit of unity, generosity, and shared joy. It delivers a heartfelt message through the lyrics: “Nandito na ang Pasko, magkakasama tayo. Office Haute Couture_ A Defile de Mode

Communication juniors and seniors took the runway with flair during “Office Haute Couture: A Défilé de Mode,” a fashion show held on November 26, 2024, at the CITHM Lobby. Guided by Ms. Divine Grace Doydoy of the Department of Communication, the event showcased professional attire reimagined with creative twists. This activity was held in line with their Personality and Career Development class, highlighting how fashion can reflect both professionalism and individuality. The show was judged by Ms. Anna Beatriz Dablo, Ms. Konie Rivera, and Mr. Joe Basty Adriano, all from the Department of Communication. Participants were evaluated not only on their confidence and runway presence but also on concept execution and originality.

Today, 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, the College of Criminology, along with our homeroom officers, Criminology student council, and 4th Year Criminology Interns, successfully conducted 𝑩𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒐𝒏 𝑲𝒂𝒏𝒍𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒏: 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑶𝒖𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 at Molino Homes 1, Molino 3 Bacoor, Cavite. This initiative provided much-needed support to the victims of the recent fire disaster in Sitio Kanluran, Brgy. Longos, Zapote 3, Bacoor, Cavite. All donations given were made voluntarily, reflecting the spirit of solidarity and compassion within our community. We extend our deepest gratitude to 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐂.
