On December 16, 2025, a meaningful dialogue was held at the School Director’s Office between representatives of the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA and the Diaconia University of Applied Sciences, Finland. The Diaconia delegation was represented by Senior Lecturer Ms. Margarita Sakilaya-Latva and International Student Recruitment Specialist Ms. Mia Lehto, together with four other members of their team. Representing UPHSD were School Director Dr. Arnaldo S. De Guzman; Director of Planning, Linkages, ETEEAP and CPD Dr. Gabriel Archemedez Y. Flores; Dean of Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy Dr. Mona Liza N. Valencia; Dean of Radiologic Technology Dr. Chona Cabatay; Dean of Medical Technology Ms. Lily Aileen Alinao; Dean of the College of Pharmacy Dr. Ma. Victoria Mendoza; Dean of the College of Education and College of Arts and Sciences Dr. Emerlyn Managuas; and Head of Technical Vocational Education and Training Ms. Myleen Anne Dablo. The meeting provided an opportunity to explore potential areas of collaboration, particularly in international student recruitment, academic exchange, and faculty and student mobility programs. The discussion highlighted shared goals in promoting global education, cross-cultural learning, and quality academic engagement, further strengthening UPHSD’s commitment to internationalization and meaningful global partnerships.

On December 15, 2025, the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA conducted a benchmarking visit at Mapúa University in Intramuros, Manila, as part of its continuous efforts to enhance academic quality and institutional excellence. The UPHSD delegation was composed of Executive Director of the Quality Assurance System Dr. Loureli Siy; Director of Planning, Linkages, ETEEAP & CPD Dr. Gabriel Archemedez Y. Flores; Technical Support Mr. Antonio Orcales; Dean of the College of Computer Studies Dr. Jenniline Eya; Learning Resource Center Chief Librarian Dr. Aniline Vidal; Dean of the College of Engineering and Cluster Dean of Technology Courses Dr. Lorena Ilagan; Head of Engineering and Services Engr. Edilberto Matibag; and Linkages and ETEEAP Officer Ms. Rianne Anjela Sierra. Also in attendance were UPHSD–Molino Learning Resource Center Chief Librarian Ms. Joyvie Arbasa; School Director of UPHSD–Calamba Dr. Ernesto F. Ramirez; General Services Manager Engr. Deng Sablan; and Linkages Representative Ms. Lucy. The benchmarking activity served as a platform for knowledge exchange on best practices in academic delivery, library and learning resource management, engineering and technology programs, and institutional support services. Through this collaborative engagement, UPHSD gained valuable insights that will help strengthen its academic programs, operational systems, and overall institutional performance in pursuit of continuous improvement and global competitiveness.

The University of Perpetual Help System DALTA achieved another inspiring milestone as it was awarded a Certificate of Commendation at the ICONS Awards 2025 by the Commission on Higher Education on December 10, 2025, in recognition of its outstanding commitment to internationalization, sustainability, and its notable performance in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2025 (1501+). Representing the University in receiving this prestigious honor were Dr. Arnaldo S. De Guzman of the Las Piñas Campus, Dr. Reno R. Rayel of the Molino Campus, and Dr. Ernesto F. Ramirez of the Calamba Campus, whose leadership and dedication continue to strengthen UPHSD’s position in advancing Philippine higher education on the global stage.

On December 06, 2025, the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA engaged in a productive session with the new LinkedIn area representative from Singapore to explore collaborative opportunities and co-create strategies for expanding the University’s professional network and online presence. The meeting focused on innovative approaches to strengthen industry linkages, enhance alumni engagement, and amplify UPHSD’s visibility in the global professional community. This initiative reflects the University’s commitment to leveraging digital platforms for meaningful partnerships and sustainable growth.

Al John Provido RCJ, Chaplain of the campus, at our office. The visit provided an opportunity for meaningful engagement, reflection, and spiritual interaction, fostering a deeper sense of community and shared purpose. The presence of the postulants and their guidance under Fr. Provido highlighted the continuing partnership between the University and the Rogationist community in nurturing values, faith, and service among the youth.

Recognized as the region’s leading platform for collaboration, innovation, and best-practice sharing in higher education, the summit brought together academic leaders and institutions committed to shaping the future of global education. In this prestigious gathering, UPHSD Las Piñas Campus was honored with a 4-Star rating from QS Stars, a testament to the university’s commitment to academic excellence, institutional quality, and global competitiveness. The award was formally received by UPHSD officials, led by Dr. Arnaldo S. De Guzman, School Director of the Las Piñas Campus, together with Dr. Reno R. Rayel, School Director of the Molino Campus, and Dr. Ernie F. Ramirez, School Director of the Calamba Campus. Their presence underscored the collective effort of the UPHSD system in advancing quality education and strengthening international recognition. On November 6, 2025, a meeting was held with the Head of the Commission on Human Rights – National Capital Region (NCR) Office to discuss ongoing and future collaborations on human rights initiatives. The meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen partnerships, exchange insights on current programs, and explore ways to promote awareness and protection of human rights within the community. This engagement reflects the commitment to uphold human rights values and foster meaningful cooperation between institutions and the Commission.

On October 15, 2025 the Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD) visited the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD) for a meeting held at the Moot Court, Las Piñas Campus, to express their interest in conducting a benchmarking activity on the university’s Bilibid Community Extension Program. The visit highlighted KLD’s aim to learn from UPHSD’s best practices in implementing meaningful and sustainable community outreach programs. The benchmarking initiative seeks to understand the framework, coordination, and impact of UPHSD’s extension efforts within the New Bilibid Prison, which provide educational, livelihood, and rehabilitation opportunities for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs). Through this engagement, KLD hopes to strengthen its own community extension programs and align its initiatives with effective models of social responsibility and human development. UPHSD, recognized for its commitment to service and transformative education, welcomed the benchmarking interest of KLD as part of its advocacy to share knowledge and foster collaboration among higher education institutions. On October 9, 2025, a collaborative partnership meeting between the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD) and Cavite State University (CvSU) – Imus Campus was held at the School Director’s Office, UPHSD Las Piñas Campus. The meeting aimed to strengthen institutional linkages through discussions on ongoing initiatives, partnership updates, and future collaborative programs focused on academic excellence and institutional development. Representing CvSU–Imus were Dr. Armi Grace B. Desingaño, Campus Administrator; Dr. Alfe M. Solina, Chairperson of the Department of Management; Sixto N. Ras Jr., Chairperson of the Department of Physical Education; Luningning A. Valdez, Institutional Development Officer; Dr. Liane Vina G. Ocampo, Research Coordinator; Myralene Grace Lucas, Knowledge Management Center (KMC) Coordinator; Bernardo C. Pangilinan, Program Coordinator for BS Business Administration; Margarette B. Soberano, Campus Secretary; and Cromwell R. Cabalu, Linkages Officer. From UPHSD, attendees included Dr. Gabriel Archemedez Y. Flores, Director for Planning, Linkages, ETEEAP and CPD; Dr. Eduardo Zialcita, Dean of the Graduate School; Dr. Dexter Soguilon, Assistant Dean of the Graduate School; Dr. Arnaldo De Guzman, School Director; Dr. Reyner Villaseñor, Chairman of Public Administration – Graduate School; and Ms. Ronavee Divine R. Alagano, Planning and CPD Officer. During the meeting, both universities discussed various areas for collaboration, including: ● Joint research initiatives in Business, Education, and Public Administration; ● Research-based extension projects and workshop series focused on innovation and sustainability; ● Accreditation and microcredential programs for graduate-level studies; ● Co-hosting research conferences and symposia, including participation in the upcoming APCORE event and Gusi Peace Prize activities; ● Possible joint organization of research festivals and community-based projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The discussion also highlighted the potential for CvSU–Imus and UPHSD to explore co-organized webinars, research conferences, and capacity-building activities to further develop academic and institutional linkages.
