Flores, Director of Planning, Linkages, ETEEAP &amp; CPD; Ms. Diana Labong, Officer of Linkages; Dr. Josephine Dasig, Director of Community Extension Services; and Dr. Belinda Conde, Director of Research and Development Center conducted a group research immersion in Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija. The focus of the visit was the historic \u201cold\u201d Poblacion, where the team explored the community\u2019s rich cultural heritage and uncovered stories of resilience and sacrifice.<\/p><p>Engaging with the residents, the team learned about the struggles faced by the locals when they were displaced during the construction of the Pantabangan Dam. Despite losing their original homes and livelihoods, the community demonstrated remarkable strength, rebuilding their lives while preserving their traditions and memories. These heartfelt narratives provided the team with valuable insights into the community\u2019s journey of survival and adaptation.<\/p><p>The immersion, held on Independence Day, made the experience even more meaningful. It served as a reminder that freedom is not only marked by historical events but also by the people\u2019s enduring spirit and collective hope.
