College of Law

The UPHSD College of Law is co-educational and non-sectarian. An applicant for admission must be a holder of a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree from a recognized college or university, preferable with English, Economics, History, Political Science, Logic, or Philosophy as a major subject.

The applicant must pass a Philippine Law School Admission Test (PHILSAT) or he/she may apply for Conditional Admission from the LEB (leb.gov.ph)

For FRESHMEN:

  1. ID picture – 4 pcs. of 2×2 and  2 pcs. 1×1   colored, white background (latest or at least 6 months)
  2. Good Moral Character Certificate from School Registrar/ Employer/ Brgy. Chairman – Original copy
  3. Certificate of Live Birth – Original copy issued by PSA (formerly NSO)
  4. Transcript of Records (T.O.R) – Photocopy (for evaluation purposes)
  5. Official Transcript of Records (T.O.R) issued by the Registrar from previous school – Original copy and 2 sets of photocopies with Remarks:  Copy for University of Perpetual Help  (will give a request upon enrollment)
  6. College Diploma – Certified True Copy of School Registrar
  7. Please put documents in a Long brown envelope
 

For REFRESHER:

  1. ID picture – 4 pcs. of 2×2 and  2 pcs. 1×1   colored, white background (latest or at least 6 months)
  2. Good Moral Character Certificate from School Registrar/ Employer/ Brgy. Chairman – Original copy
  3. Pre-law and Law Official Transcript of Records (T.O.R) issued by the Registrar from previous law school – Certified True copy and photocopy  
  4. Diploma (Ll.B/ J.D.) issued by the Registrar from previous law school – Certified True Copy or Notary Public
  5. Certificate of Live Birth – issued by PSA (formerly NSO) – original
  6. Please put documents in a Long brown envelope

For TRANSFEREES:

  2. Honorable DismissalTransfer Credential CertificateGood Moral Character Cert. – Original copy issued by the Registrar from previous law school
  3. C-1 (Certificate of Eligibility to Law) issued by the Registrar from previous law school
  4. Official Transcript of Records (T.O.R)/ Certificate of Grades/ Summary of Credits – Original copy & 2 sets of photocopies with Remarks:  Copy for University of Perpetual Help  issued by the Registrar from previous law school
  5. Pre-Law Transcript of Records  & Diploma – Original/ Certified true copy &  2 sets of photocopies from previous school
  6. Certificate of Live Birth – Original copy from PSA (formerly NSO)

Entrance Scholarship SY 2018-2019

POLICIES

  1. The scholarship is open to all students, whether new or transferees, who are graduates of any bachelor degree with academic honors.
  2. The applicant must be a PhilSAT exam passer with the score of not less than 55% as determined by the Legal Education Board.
  3. He/she must also pass the written admission test with at least 80% score and the Dean’s interview.
  4. Qualified applicants shall be entitled to the following discounts:
  • Full scholarship – 100% discount on tuition and miscellaneous fee plus books
    • Summa Cum Laude
      • GWA 100% – 97%
  • 100% discount on tuition and miscellaneous fee
    • Magna Cum Laude
      • GWA 96% – 93%
  • 100% discount on tuition fees ONLY
    • Cum Laude
      • GWA 92% – 89%
    • Top 10
      • Top 1-5
        • 75% discount on tuition fee only
        • GWA required 88% – 90%
      • Top 6-10
        • 50% discount on tuition fee only
        • GWA required 85% – 87%
  1. The applicant must enroll at least the regular load for the semester. Once enrolled, it is understood that the student must not obtain a grade lower than 85% in any subject and the GWA per semester must be at least 85% to continue enjoying the privilege.
