The BSBA Major in Human Resource Management at UPHSD Calamba provides a balance of theory and practice in people management. Students learn recruitment, onboarding, training & development, compensation design, labor relations, HR information systems (HRIS), and HR analytics to become effective HR practitioners and strategic partners in organizations.

Learning combines lectures, case studies, role plays, simulation labs, and client-based HR projects. Example projects include designing recruitment campaigns, developing onboarding programs, conducting employee engagement surveys, and creating competency frameworks.
The program partners with companies across Laguna and Metro Manila for internship placements that expose students to full HR cycles — sourcing, hiring, onboarding, development, and separation. Internship hosts include BPOs, retail firms, manufacturing companies, and corporate HR teams.
