On September 15, 2025, the Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS) – Las Piñas Chapter rolled out Episode 2 of its Peer Tutoring Series: CUT! CODE PTP, held from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The session brought together CCS freshmen and sophomores eager to strengthen their knowledge in Discrete Mathematics and Advanced Java Fundamentals. What made the event more meaningful was that the tutors themselves were fellow CCS students, showing how peer-to-peer learning can build confidence and make complex lessons more relatable.

The student-tutors, Ms. Arnica N. Arturo and Mr. John Rainier Bartolata for Advanced Java, and Mr. Charlie V. Makayan and Mr. Mark Manuel M. Ponce for Discrete Mathematics, generously shared their time and expertise. Their efforts, supported by Dean Jenniline D. Eya, Adviser Ms. Ma. Teresa Plastina, faculty members, and JPCS officers, created a dynamic environment where learning was interactive, collaborative, and inspiring. The event showcased not only academic growth but also leadership and service within the CCS student community.

This initiative strongly supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. By empowering students to teach and support one another, the peer tutoring program promoted inclusivity, collaboration, and shared responsibility in education, proving that learning becomes more impactful when the community grows together.
