On June 7, 2025, the Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS) – UPHSD Las Piñas Chapter proudly partnered with PUP-ASCII as game creators for the event IQ League. This milestone marked JPCS’s first-ever collaboration with an external student organization from another campus, symbolizing a breakthrough in building connections beyond UPHSD. The partnership not only highlighted the creativity and technical expertise of CCS students but also reflected their commitment to collaboration and innovation.
The event showcased the value of teamwork across institutions, where students combined their knowledge and skills to create meaningful and engaging outputs. For CCS student participants, this collaboration became more than just a project, it was an opportunity to expand their horizons, share best practices, and strengthen camaraderie with peers from another university. It also opened doors for new learning experiences and potential partnerships that can further enhance their academic and professional growth.
This initiative is closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. By engaging in inter-campus collaboration, CCS students not only enhanced their technical competencies but also contributed to fostering innovation and building sustainable partnerships, demonstrating that education and creativity thrive best when knowledge is shared and communities work together.
