The University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD) formalized its partnership with the Huawei ICT Academy through a signed Memorandum of Understanding, marking a significant milestone in advancing ICT education. Present during the ceremony were Dr. Rosalie Armando, Central IT Director; Mr. Andrei Manuel, Huawei Representative; Dr. Jenniline Eya, Dean of CCS Las Piñas; Engr. Jerome Refran, Dean of CCS Calamba; and Ms. Maribel Sandagon, OIC of CCS Molino. Their presence highlighted the strong collaboration between the university and Huawei in fostering innovation and equipping students with globally relevant digital skills.

On October 8, 2024, students from the College of Computer Studies (CCS) took part in the CompTIA Certification Exam, a globally recognized credentialing program that validates essential IT skills. The certification is designed to strengthen students’ competencies in areas such as computer hardware, software, networking, and security, skills that are critical in today’s fast-paced digital industry. This opportunity reflects CCS’s commitment to preparing its students for professional excellence and global competitiveness.
