On August 28, 2025, the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD) had the privilege of welcoming Mr. Gareth Fernandez, Enterprise Sales of LinkedIn, at the School Director’s Office.
Mr. Fernandez presented LinkedIn’s initiatives to expand the platform’s use not only for teachers and staff but also for students, making professional networking and career development more accessible to the entire academic community. He also introduced the availability of short courses with certifications, designed to strengthen skills, enhance employability, and open new opportunities for both students and professionals.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Gabriel Archemedez Y. Flores, Director of Planning and Institutional Linkages, Ms. Evelyn Antiporda, Dean of the College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management (CITHM), Dr. Glenda Joy Lopez, Dean of the College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA), Mr. Jose Ricardo Alviedo, Head of the University Registrar’s Office, and Dr. Belinda Conde, Director of Research and Development Center.
