On June 10, 2025, the University of Santo Tomas Graduate School (UST GS) Community Development Office conducted a whole-day training on research methodologies for the soldier-researchers of the Civil-Military Operations Regiment (CMOR), Philippine Army at Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

Through the Memorandum of Partnership between UST GS and CMOR, the program aims to strengthen the research capabilities of CMOR personnel in support of their missions on Psychological Operations, Civil Affairs, and Public Affairs.

Dr. Gabriel Archemedez Y. Flores served as the resource speaker, providing valuable insights on systematic research approaches. His lecture emphasized the importance of proper research procedures in ensuring that CMOR operations are planned and implemented based on accurate and proportionate information.

This initiative highlights the collaboration between the academe and the military in promoting evidence-based strategies, professional development, and nation-building.
