On September 16, 2025, representatives from the Faculty of the College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) and the Linkages Department attended the seminar titled “From Campus to Career: Equipping Students for What's Next with LinkedIn,” held at the Viventis Career Center, Ground Floor, 1 Garden Way, Edsa Shangri-La Hotel, Mandaluyong City. The event, organized by Viventis Search Asia in collaboration with LinkedIn, aimed to equip students and educators with insights and strategies for leveraging professional networking platforms to enhance career readiness and employability. The participation of the CBAA and Linkages Department signifies the University’s continuous efforts to explore future partnerships and initiatives that support students’ transition from academic life to successful professional careers.

Peer-to-Peer Tutorial Sessions: Episode 2

On September 15, 2025, the Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS) – Las Piñas Chapter rolled out Episode 2 of its Peer Tutoring Series: CUT! CODE PTP, held from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The session brought together CCS freshmen and sophomores eager to strengthen their knowledge in Discrete Mathematics and Advanced Java Fundamentals. What made the event more meaningful was that the tutors themselves were fellow CCS students, showing how peer-to-peer learning can build confidence and make complex lessons more relatable. The student-tutors, Ms. Arnica N. Arturo and Mr. John Rainier Bartolata for Advanced Java, and Mr. Charlie V. Makayan and Mr. Mark Manuel M. Ponce for Discrete Mathematics, generously shared their time and expertise. Their efforts, supported by Dean Jenniline D. Eya, Adviser Ms. Ma. Teresa Plastina, faculty members, and JPCS officers, created a dynamic environment where learning was interactive, collaborative, and inspiring. The event showcased not only academic growth but also leadership and service within the CCS student community. This initiative strongly supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. By empowering students to teach and support one another, the peer tutoring program promoted inclusivity, collaboration, and shared responsibility in education, proving that learning becomes more impactful when the community grows together.

The event gathered leaders and administrators from various higher education institutions to explore innovative approaches in integrating artificial intelligence and micro-credentialing in academic programs. Educational Exchange Program between the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD) and Bangbo Witthayakhom School, Thailand

The Educational Exchange Program between the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD) and Bangbo Witthayakhom School, Thailand, was successfully conducted from September 9 to 12, 2025. The four-day program brought together students and faculty members from both institutions for a series of collaborative learning experiences and cultural activities. Throughout the visit, the Thai delegates experienced the Perpetualite way of learning through interactive sessions and classroom immersions at the Junior Business High School (JBHS) and Senior High School (SHS) Departments. These engagements fostered academic collaboration, cultural appreciation, and meaningful friendships among participants. The exchange students also explored Filipino culture and traditions through cultural lectures, cross-cultural interactions with student organizations, and activities such as a city tour, Chicken Adobo cooking demonstration, and an Amazing Race. The program highlights UPHSD’s commitment to global education, international linkages, and cross-cultural understanding, providing students with opportunities to grow as globally competent and culturally aware individuals

UPHSD Welcomes Delegation from University of Indonesia Maju for Academic Collaboration

The University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD) proudly welcomed the delegation from the University of Indonesia Maju on September 08, 2025 for a collaborative meeting aimed at fostering stronger academic partnerships. The visit was organized by the Office of International Student Affairs, led by Admiral Wilfredo Tamayo. Representing UPHSD were Dr. Eduardo Zialcita, Dean of the Graduate School; Dr. Dexter Soguilon, Assistant Dean of the Graduate School; Dr. Gabriel Archemedez Y. Flores, Director of Planning, Linkages, ETEEAP and CPD; and Mr. Ruel Alba from the Registrar’s Office. The Indonesian delegation was composed of Ms. Evita Rivain Rachman, Director of the University of Indonesia Maju; Ms. Betty Abalos, Director of the Philippine Business Club Indonesia; and Ms. Evelyn Ocampo Juha, President of the Rotary Club of Jakarta Gambir. Discussions highlighted potential areas of collaboration, including cultural exchange, academic excellence, joint research, and faculty mobility. August 22, 2025 – Dr. Gabriel Archemedez Y. Flores visited Rogationist College – Silang, Cavite to deliver an insightful talk on “Commitment and Proper Conduct in the Workplace,” an event that seamlessly blended character building and vocation promotion. The session aimed to guide students and educators in understanding the values and work ethics essential for professional growth and personal development. Marketing Vanguard in Cultural Diversity: A Cross-Cultural Experience in Providence University, Taiwan

On August 21–30, 2025, selected Basic Education students participated in the “Marketing Vanguard in Cultural Diversity: Cross-Cultural Communication and Strategies” program held at Providence University, Taiwan. The program served as an avenue for young learners to gain firsthand exposure to international academic and cultural experiences. Through a series of lectures, workshops, and collaborative activities, the students explored concepts of cross-cultural communication, marketing strategies in diverse environments, and global citizenship. Beyond classroom discussions, the participants also engaged in cultural immersion activities where they were able to interact with Taiwanese peers, appreciate the local traditions, and exchange perspectives on education and youth leadership. This meaningful experience enhanced their confidence, broadened their worldview, and strengthened their adaptability in multicultural settings. The visit to Providence University not only enriched the students’ academic knowledge but also instilled in them the values of diversity, respect, and collaboration—skills essential for navigating an increasingly interconnected world.
