The University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD) proudly welcomed the delegation from the University of Indonesia Maju on September 08, 2025 for a collaborative meeting aimed at fostering stronger academic partnerships.
The visit was organized by the Office of International Student Affairs, led by Admiral Wilfredo Tamayo. Representing UPHSD were Dr. Eduardo Zialcita, Dean of the Graduate School; Dr. Dexter Soguilon, Assistant Dean of the Graduate School; Dr. Gabriel Archemedez Y. Flores, Director of Planning, Linkages, ETEEAP and CPD; and Mr. Ruel Alba from the Registrar’s Office.
The Indonesian delegation was composed of Ms. Evita Rivain Rachman, Director of the University of Indonesia Maju; Ms. Betty Abalos, Director of the Philippine Business Club Indonesia; and Ms. Evelyn Ocampo Juha, President of the Rotary Club of Jakarta Gambir.
Discussions highlighted potential areas of collaboration, including cultural exchange, academic excellence, joint research, and faculty mobility. Special emphasis was placed on joint Graduate School projects, which are expected to strengthen institutional ties and open new opportunities for faculty and students alike.
This partnership marks another step in UPHSD’s commitment to global engagement and academic excellence.
