On May 11, 2026, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between FUJIFILM Philippines Inc. and University of Perpetual Help System DALTA was successfully held at the Moot Court of the university. The partnership signified a shared commitment to strengthening academic-industry collaboration through seminars, technical demonstrations, recruitment opportunities, and career pathway support for graduating students.
Representing FUJIFILM Philippines Inc. were Masahiro Uehara, President of FUJIFILM Philippines Inc., and Carolina Mayari, Human Resource Manager. Representing the University were Dr. Arnaldo S. De Guzman, School Director; Ms. Rowena G. Morta, Chairperson of the Department of Communication; Dr. Emerlyn E. Managuas, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; and Dr. Gabriel Archemedez Y. Flores, Director of Planning, Linkages, ETEEAP & CPD.
During the program, both parties underscored the importance of bridging academic learning with industry practices by providing students with opportunities for seminars, technical demonstrations, and professional engagement. The collaboration also aims to support and strengthen career pathways for graduating students through recruitment initiatives, industry exposure, and access to potential employment opportunities aligned with current industry demands.
