School Visit and Benchmarking Activity with St. Paul University Dumaguete

Date: May 18, 2026 Partner Institution: St. Paul University, Dumaguete Activity: School Visit and Benchmarking Activity with St. Paul University Dumaguete On May 18, 2026, the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA–Las Piñas Campus warmly welcomed representatives from St. Paul University, Dumaguete, for a school visit and benchmarking activity. The activity provided an avenue for both institutions to strengthen professional relationships, exchange knowledge, and share effective practices in academic and administrative operations. During the visit, the participating representatives engaged in meaningful discussions and shared best practices, particularly on institutional processes, programs, and initiatives. The activity enabled the visiting institution to gain valuable insights from the practices and experiences of UPHSD–Las Piñas Campus while fostering professional interaction and knowledge-sharing between the two institutions. The activity contributed to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education by promoting the exchange of knowledge, institutional practices, and approaches that support continuous improvement in higher education. It also supported SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening inter-institutional collaboration and creating opportunities for future academic and professional partnerships. The School Visit and Benchmarking Activity concluded with a positive exchange of ideas and strengthened the relationship between UPHSD–Las Piñas Campus and St. Paul University Dumaguete, demonstrating the value of collaboration, benchmarking, and continuous institutional development in advancing quality and sustainable higher education.

𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝟏𝟐𝟔, bringing smiles, learning, and care to 𝟑𝟏 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐣𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲. Led by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐆𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐭 𝐆. 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐠 and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐠, Grade 10 students from 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, the activity went beyond simply giving—it created a space for fun, learning, and connection. The children actively participated in 𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒈𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒖𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔, helping them become more aware and ready in times of need. They also learned the 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝒘𝒂𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒘𝒂𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔, 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒉𝒚𝒈𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔 𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉. A total of 𝟑𝟏 𝐡𝐲𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐬 were distributed, ensuring that each child received essential items to support their cleanliness and well-being. To make the day even more special, the children enjoyed delicious Jollibee meals and spent time playing together, creating joyful and memorable moments. This initiative highlights the importance of starting with clean and healthy habits, especially among young learners, while fostering a sense of community, care, and shared responsibility. This activity supports 𝐒𝐃𝐆 𝟑: 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥-𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 by promoting proper hygiene and health awareness among children, and 𝑺𝑫𝑮 𝟒: 𝑸𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑬𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 by providing essential knowledge on handwashing and emergency preparedness in an engaging and meaningful way. (𝐃𝐉𝐅𝐈), in collaboration with 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐂𝐄𝐒), and in partnership with the 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. The session engaged 𝟏𝟓 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐳 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝, in a series of dance activities that encouraged self-expression, coordination, and confidence. Through the stories shared, the participants were able to connect with meaningful lessons while building their confidence in expressing their thoughts and ideas. Volunteers guided the children throughout the activity, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. As the session concluded, the children shared their reflections, favorite moments, and insights from the stories, highlighting the impact of storytelling in developing both their communication skills and appreciation for narratives. The activity focused on Filipino storytelling, aiming to promote cultural appreciation while enhancing the children’s listening comprehension and communication skills. Through engaging storytelling sessions featuring Filipino tales, the children actively participated, responding to questions and sharing their insights. Each child was guided by an assigned volunteer, allowing for meaningful interaction and a deeper understanding of the narratives presented. After the activity, the children shared their learnings and favorite parts of the stories with their volunteers, reflecting on the values and lessons they gained from the session. The children expressed their creativity by painting elements of nature such as flowers, the moon, and various characters, highlighting their imagination and appreciation of the environment. With the guidance of their volunteers, the participants were able to complete meaningful artworks that reflected both creativity and awareness of nature. After the activity, each child proudly presented their painting alongside their assigned volunteer, sharing the inspiration and ideas behind their artwork. DATE: 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 ACTIVITY TITLE: 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐 CAPTION / NARRATIVE: A creative and engaging continuation of the program was held through a 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 on 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at 𝐑𝐦. 𝟏𝟐𝟕 of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 from 𝟏:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 to 𝟓:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌. This activity was spearheaded by 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐚 𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐚 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐈𝐧𝐜. (𝐃𝐉𝐅𝐈), in collaboration with the 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐂𝐄𝐒), and in partnership with 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞. The session brought together 𝟏𝟓 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐳 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝, each paired with a volunteer from The Perpetualite, to guide and support them in expressing their creativity. The children were encouraged to draw their favorite characters, allowing them to explore imagination, self-expression, and artistic confidence through a guided activity. After the drawing session, each child proudly presented their artwork alongside their assigned volunteer, sharing the meaning, ideas, and inspiration behind their creations. The activity provided a space for interaction, creativity, and confidence-building through art-based learning. This program aligns with the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐚𝐥 (𝐒𝐃𝐆) 𝟒: 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, by promoting inclusive, participatory, and creative learning experiences that nurture children’s imagination, self-expression, and communication skills through meaningful and supportive activities.

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony Between UPHSD and the HSL-Braille College, Inc.

On April 17, 2026, the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA formally entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with HSL-Braille College, Inc. during a signing ceremony held at the campus of HSL-Braille College, Inc. in Taguig City. The partnership marked a significant step in strengthening academic and institutional collaboration between the two educational institutions. The agreement aims to promote future initiatives involving academic cooperation, seminars, trainings, student engagement activities, and professional development opportunities that will benefit both institutions and their respective communities. Representing UPHSD during the ceremony was Dr. Loureli C. Siy, Executive Director of the DALTA Executive Academic, Accreditation and Audit Center. She was warmly welcomed by the officials of HSL-Braille College, Inc., led by Dr. Helen S. Losbañes, School President, together with Ms. Paula Grace S. Losbañes, Assistant School Directress. Both institutions expressed their commitment to fostering meaningful educational partnerships anchored on accessible, quality, and inclusive education. Partnership Exploration with Japanese Aviation: All Nippon Airways (ANA) Visit to UPHSD

On April 17, 2026, the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD) welcomed Japanese aviation and industry stakeholders for an exploratory benchmarking and partnership meeting aimed at strengthening international collaboration in the fields of aviation, tourism, hospitality, and workforce development. The activity served as a venue to discuss potential academic and industry partnerships, exchange insights, and explore opportunities that may benefit students and graduates through global exposure and professional development. During the meeting, UPHSD presented its academic programs, international initiatives, and commitment to producing globally competitive professionals equipped with industry-relevant skills and competencies. Date: March 19,2026 Partner Institution: Rogationist Academy Davao City Activity: Sharing of Practices in Academic Experiences & Research and Extension Services with Students from Rogationist Academy Davao City On March 19, 2026, a benchmarking activity entitled “Sharing of Practices in Academic Experiences & Research and Extension Services with Students from Rogationist Academy Davao City” was conducted between Rogationist Academy of Davao and UPHSD Senior High School students. The activity provided a collaborative platform for both institutions to exchange best practices in academics, research, and extension services. Students from Rogationist Academy of Davao City shared their institutional experiences and initiatives, highlighting effective strategies in academic development, research engagement, and community extension programs. In return, UPHSD Senior High School students actively participated in the discussion by presenting their own academic practices and insights, fostering a meaningful dialogue between both groups. The exchange encouraged mutual learning, innovation, and the identification of effective approaches that can be adopted to enhance educational practices.
