CAPTION / NARRATIVE: A culturally enriching and meaningful session was held through a ๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ๐ญ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ on ๐๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐, at Room 127 of ๐๐ซ. ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ง๐ from ๐:๐๐ ๐๐ to ๐:๐๐ ๐๐. This activity was spearheaded by ๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ ๐ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐๐ง๐. (๐๐๐ ๐), in collaboration with the ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ฑ๐ญ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐๐๐ฌ (๐๐๐), and in partnership with the ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง.
The session gathered ๐๐ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐๐ง ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐๐๐ซ๐ง๐๐ง๐๐๐ณ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐, who were guided by five volunteers from the College of Education, under the facilitation of the program host, Andrei Diego Calingasan. The activity focused on Filipino storytelling, aiming to promote cultural appreciation while enhancing the childrenโs listening comprehension and communication skills.
Through engaging storytelling sessions featuring Filipino tales, the children actively participated, responding to questions and sharing their insights. Each child was guided by an assigned volunteer, allowing for meaningful interaction and a deeper understanding of the narratives presented. After the activity, the children shared their learnings and favorite parts of the stories with their volunteers, reflecting on the values and lessons they gained from the session.
