Activity: MOU Signing and ETEEAP Benchmarking with Cebu Institute of Technology University
On September 4, 2026, the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD) conducted an MOU Signing and ETEEAP Benchmarking Activity with Cebu Institute of Technology University (CITU) in Cebu. The UPHSD delegation was represented by Dr. Anthony Jose M. Tamayo, President of UPHSD; Dr. Arnaldo S. De Guzman, School Director; and Dr. Gabriel Archemedez Y. Flores, Director of Linkages and ETEEAP. Representing CITU were Engr. Bernard Nicolas E. Villamor, President of CITU, and Dr. Alexander Franco A. Delantar, Director of ETEEAP.
The activity served as an opportunity for both institutions to formalize their partnership through the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and to strengthen institutional collaboration in the area of ETEEAP. The benchmarking activity also provided a venue for the exchange of experiences, policies, practices, and strategies in the implementation and management of ETEEAP. The insights and practices shared during the activity may contribute to the continuous improvement of UPHSD’s ETEEAP processes and the enhancement of lifelong learning opportunities for learners.
The proposed collaboration aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 – Quality Education and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals. It supports SDG 4 by promoting the exchange of best practices and strategies that contribute to quality, flexible, and lifelong learning opportunities through ETEEAP. It also contributes to SDG 17 by strengthening institutional partnerships between UPHSD and CITU through the MOU signing, knowledge sharing, and collaboration in the field of ETEEAP.
