DATE: 07 May 2026 ACTIVITY TITLE: UPHSD Conducts Chiropractic Medical Mission at NBP–MedSeCamp CAPTION / NARRATIVE: On 07 May 2026, the “Hands for Vitality”, a group of medical students specializing in Chiropractic Practices from the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta (UPHSD) – Las Piñas Campus held its second Chiropractic Medical Mission at New Bilibid Prison-Medium Security Camp (NBP–MedSeCamp). The initiative aims to promote health and well-being within the correctional community and was made possible through the collaboration with the UPHSD-Las Piñas and Bureau of Corrections (BuCor), providing relief to 400 individuals aged 18 to 60 years old including both Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) and BuCor personnel. This mission greatly helped the individuals who are experiencing certain conditions like back pains, neck pains, headaches, joint pains, muscle pains, sciatica, poor posture, scoliosis, and sports injuries, as they are able to avail professional services free of charge. Also, the experts also provided advice to the individuals to prevent the said conditions and injuries. SDG 3 - Good Health and Well-Being This preventive health advice activity promotes awareness and injury prevention. DATE: 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 ACTIVITY TITLE: 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟓 CAPTION / NARRATIVE: Another engaging and meaningful session unfolded through a 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 on 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at Room 127 of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 from 𝟏:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 to 𝟓:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌, continuing the program’s effort to nurture learning through interactive experiences. This activity was spearheaded by 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐚 𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐚 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐈𝐧𝐜. (𝐃𝐉𝐅𝐈), in collaboration with 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐂𝐄𝐒), and in partnership with the 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐨𝐦 (𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧). The session gathered 𝟏𝟓 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐳 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝, who were guided by six volunteers from the Kamaskom, under the facilitation of the program host, Ashley Macaambac. Through the stories shared, the participants were able to connect with meaningful lessons while building their confidence in expressing their thoughts and ideas. Volunteers guided the children throughout the activity, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. As the session concluded, the children shared their reflections, favorite moments, and insights from the stories, highlighting the impact of storytelling in developing both their communication skills and appreciation for narratives. The session gathered 𝟏𝟓 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐳 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝, who were guided by five volunteers from the College of Education, under the facilitation of the program host, Andrei Diego Calingasan. The activity focused on Filipino storytelling, aiming to promote cultural appreciation while enhancing the children’s listening comprehension and communication skills. Through engaging storytelling sessions featuring Filipino tales, the children actively participated, responding to questions and sharing their insights. Each child was guided by an assigned volunteer, allowing for meaningful interaction and a deeper understanding of the narratives presented. After the activity, the children shared their learnings and favorite parts of the stories with their volunteers, reflecting on the values and lessons they gained from the session.
