Logo-making Contest

Mechanics and Guidelines

  1. The contest is open to all bona fide students (grade school, junior high school, senior high school, college, graduate school level)  and alumni of the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA, Las Piñas Campus.  Participants can submit only ONE logo entry.
  2. The logo must illustrate, interpret and emphasize the theme “Perpetual@50: Celebrating DALTA (Diversity, Altruism, Leadership, Technology and Adaptability.”
  3. Entries may be submitted in digitized format or freehand illustration.
  4. The artist will be held accountable for any issues that may arise with regard to the originality and authenticity of the design. By joining this contest, the participant declares that the logo submitted is their original work, has not been submitted to any other competition, and does not infringe on any third party’s existing copyrights.  Any complaints that may arise due to similarities in the design would be the accountability of the participant as he or she would be responsible to prove authenticity.
  5. The following are the specifications:
    • For digital artwork- The raw file of the digital artwork should be drawn/ illustrated in A4 or letter size using Adobe Photoshop or any software. Submit the file in the following formats:

1) Flat jpeg or png  format, minimum 300 pixels
2) Original raw file (PSD, Ai, Corel)
3) Filename is your name and artwork title

    • Freehand artwork – The artwork should fit on an A4 or Letter-size bond paper.
    • A brief description or rationale (not more than 200 words) explaining the components of the logo should also be included in the entry.
  1. Submission of Entry
    • For digital Artwork- Email the entry to roadtogold@perpetualdalta.edu.ph.
    • For Freehand Artwork- Place the entry inside a brown envelope with the following information at the back of the envelope: Student Participant’s full name grade/year level/ or Alumni Participant’s  date of graduation, level (grade school, high school, college-program or graduate school) and contact information.
    • All entries must be emailed or submitted to the Office of the School Director on or before, December 18, 2023
  1. The following criteria shall be used in judging:
    • 40% Creativity and Presentation
    • 30% Originality
    • 30% Relevance to the theme
  1. Final judging shall be made after the deadline for submission of all entries. The committee shall have exclusive rights to the winning entry.
  2. Certificate and Twenty Thousand Pesos (Php 20,000.00) cash prize await the winner
